Everything you need to know about the course - at a glance
In six interactive modules, you will learn everything you need to be a successful tour guide - from planning and conducting tours and dealing with guests from different cultural backgrounds to crisis management, legal principles and marketing. You will build up your knowledge step by step through practice-oriented tasks, tests and examples from tour guide practice.
The course lasts four weeks. New learning modules are released every week, which you can work on flexibly online. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as a module is available. In addition to the learning content, you can expect practical tasks, tests and discussion forums. Optionally, you can take part in live webinars to ask questions and exchange ideas with others.
You should plan around 60 minutes per module for the learning content and a further 120 minutes for assignments and self-study. In total, we recommend around 4-5 hours per week to ensure that you internalize what you have learned.
Yes, after successfully completing all modules and tests, you will receive a certificate that officially confirms your participation and the knowledge you have acquired.

The price is for the complete course with all six modules.
The process of having the course recognized as subsidized further education is currently underway. Once it has been accredited, you will be able to book it using an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency or other state agencies.
After activation, you have access to all content for six months so that you can read up or refresh your knowledge at any time. The course is limited to the use of one person. Therefore, the name cannot be changed, as the certificate is issued for you personally.
We are also working on certifying the course with the Central Office for Distance Learning to guarantee you the highest quality and state recognition.
