You meet people from different cultures, with different languages. Chinese, Indian or American tourists. How can you react to your group? And there are people with disabilities.

Learning objectives:

  • Get to know different cultures and their characteristics

  • Take guests with special needs and disabilities into account

We explain the special features of different cultures. We address language skills and teach some phrases in different languages. We also address the topic of accessibility.

Description:

Do you know Murphy's Law? Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. The only question is, how well prepared are you and what can you do in a crisis situation? We'll go through a few scenarios for you!

You will learn which crisis situations can occur during a tour. We deal with guests who behave inappropriately and when guests go missing.

What is the legal situation? When are you liable, what liability can you exclude beforehand? Legal aspects also depend on whether you are employed or self-employed.

  • Learn how to act with legal care
  • Learn which agreements you can make in writing

Learning content:

We explain the difference between self-employed and employed tour guides. The terms duty of care, negligence and wantonness are explained. You will also learn about basic contractual agreements.
